Professional
Professional Membership is designed for business support professionals who already have a solid foundation in the industry as a mentor, coach, advisor, or consultant. You will have the opportunity to further develop your skills and qualifications, ultimately improving your standing in the sector. This membership level also grants you access to the client marketplace, allowing you to expand your client base and grow your business. This attracts the post nominal of MIBSP

Qualified
Qualified Membership is for outstanding experienced professionals who have enhanced their expert status through continued learning, sharing of knowledge, and obtaining a unique qualification. You will have access to the client marketplace and jobs board for businesses looking for Chairs, Non-Executive Directors and Board Advisors, allowing you to expand your business and client base to a new audience seeking standout professionals in the field of business support. This attracts the post nominal of MIBSQ
Fee: £150
Fellow
IBS Fellows have shown an outstanding dedication to the business support sector, the Institute or business generally. Applications are subject to professional interview. This attracts the post nominal of MIBSF
Fee: £175
Organisation
The IBS welcomes applications from not-for-profits, charities, academic and educational organisations, and commercial businesses. The values of all applying organisations must align to those of the Institute or be adopted as a statement on joining. Employees or members of organisations are eligible to join at a reduced rate and must agree and abide by the Institutes Professional Code of Conduct.

Individual Criteria
Individual applicants complete an online application. The vetting process includes due diligence checks, payment of joining and membership fee and agreeing to abide by the Professional Code of Conduct Business Support.
Organisation Criteria
Organisation applicants undergo a series of due diligence checks including integrity, financial, director standing and so on. They also have to evidence how they recruit members and professionals and how they support them.
Organisational members have access to the independently assessed IBS Quality Mark to support their programmes.
