Apprentice
As an Apprentice Business Support Professional who is looking to gain experience, this type of membership is one that can offer mentorship and opportunities to obtain qualifications. You may have previously worked in business for yourself or held a senior role within an organization, but are looking to further develop your skills and knowledge in the field. By becoming a member, you can access resources and support to help you grow and succeed in your career, but not able to be listed in the market place.
Experienced
Experienced Membership is designed for business support professionals who already have a solid foundation in the industry as a mentor, coach, advisor, or consultant. By joining as an Experienced Member, you will have the opportunity to further develop your skills and qualifications, ultimately improving your standing in the sector. This membership level also grants you access to the client marketplace, allowing you to expand your client base and grow your business.
Expert
Expert Membership is designed for experienced professionals who are looking to enhance their expert status through continued learning, sharing of knowledge, and obtaining qualifications. By becoming an Expert Member, you will have access to the client marketplace, allowing you to expand your business and client base to a new audience seeking standout professionals in the field of business support. Join us in taking your career to the next level and standing out among your peers.
Organisation
The membership level welcomes organisations that offer business support to individuals and companies that wish to professionalize their own members while supporting their clients in a professional way, gaining a globally recognized quality mark.
Individual Criteria
Individual applicants for membership of the Institute must complete a rigorous application process for each level of membership. This process includes undergoing a number of due diligence checks and agreeing to abide by the Professional Code of Conduct Business Support.
Organisation Criteria
Criteria for Organisation Membership in the context of Business Support Professional is stringent. Organisation applicants for membership of the Institute undergo a series of due diligence checks including integrity, financial, director standing and so on. They also have to prove how they recruit members and professionals and how they support them. They may also ask for their programme to be quality checked and receive the IBSupP Quality Mark.
